My favourite place in Jeju Island -> Udo 우도❤️ Its a tiny island situated off the eastern coast of Jeju Island. To get there, catch a 15 minutes ferry journey from Seongsan Harbour 성산항 , just next to Seongsan Ilchubong also known as Sunrise Peak. We had our lunch at one of the local restaurant. Their seafood pancake is a must have!Udo Island is famous for its Peanut Ice-cream. Not forgetting Jeju’s Tangerine Ice-cream. Pictures speak a thousand words. So beautiful.
This is another favourite spot of mine in Jeju Island. The Innisfree Jeju Green House Organic Cafe. Besides selling the usual Innisfree products, there is an attached cafe in this greenhouse overlooking the large green tea field. Decided to have their 해녀바구니브런치 (Jeju Female Diver’s Basket Brunch). It’s a little too much for me but I can’t miss taking a shot of it. A rather healthy tasting brunch I would say. And of course the 한라봉티(Hallabong Tea).Guess how many test and trials I had to do to get this one shot? 😌 #solotraveler

I planned my second night here in Aewol-eup 애월해안도로. It’s one of my favourite coastal road in Jeju, the perfect place to relax with nice cafes. I’ll post up those lovely cafes for sure 🙂 It’s my first time in this hotel and I totally fell in love! I’m in love with white and gold detailing. Pictures speak a thousand words. I’ve got myself a room on the highest floor on the block which is facing the sea.
Let me present to you Room 1301 🙂
I’m so lucky that I’ve got a pretty good deal and I picked the perfect place.

And so, I did a last minute decision to Jeju-do. Decided to stay at few places during a week here which will be easier for me to go to the places I missed so much. Stumbled upon Value Hotel Worldwide Jeju on Agoda.com. It’s just opposite my ex-company in Shin Jeju and it’s new. And I’m glad I booked this hotel 🙂
The only thing is, the check out time for most hotels in Jeju is 11am. So I had to plan for my brunch instead.

So, recently I was working on a project that a good friend of mine handed over to me. It is a sovo suite located at I-Sovo, I-City. The owner has been leaving the place vacant for more than a year ever since it was handed over by the developer. This was how it looked like before (he got his own furnitures):
I took a Sunday and sourced items from Index Living, Ikea and some other retails. And I had to do it on a low budget possible including bedsheets, comforter and pillows. Nothing much to touch on, just to be sure the place looks and feels more cozy to stay in.
The end product:
This cozy 1-Bedroom Suite is now available for reservations on Airbnb 🙂 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/19630801?location=I%20City%20Shah%20Alam%20Selangor%20Malaysia
Recently, Mama Kim opened its new branch at Pusat Bandar Puchong opposite of Koi Tropika. I used to go to the one at Bandar Puchong Jaya. A warmer interior. We ordered the signature dish, Sauna Mee with fish fillet. The mushroom noodles are quite a lot. Opt for the soup with brown rice if you are not a big eater 🙂
Location: New branch Opposite Koi Tropika Serviced Apartment. Other branches as above. 🙂
Comments: The staffs didn’t really clean the place properly especially bits of food lying on the floor. There was a lot of flies around which really annoyed me.
So last month, my boss invited me to join him for lunch with one of our clients. When I arrived at the restaurant only then I realised that it’s an “atas” Japanese lunch.
Righttt, but it’s mainly raw premium fishes. As people know me, I do NOT take raw sushi. Lol. I’m lucky to have a really understanding boss so that’s why he has got them to flame it all for mine but anyway he insisted I should try.
He got me a Mino Set. It comes with the dishes below:
People shall judge me because I flamed them all up. Well, it’s still raw at the bottom! Anyway I braved myself to try the first piece and then I slowly chewed piece by piece. It was an indescribable feeling. Once I put that piece of sushi in my mouth, the next second that slice of fish was gone! Yes as if it melted. Wow! Definitely a must try! – I speak as a non-raw sushi eater/consumer 🙂
My Mino set – RM198++
It is a must try at least once in your lifetime. Well, at least that happened to me 🙂
Location: Oribe, ViPod Residences, No 6 Jalan Kia Peng, Kuala Lumpur.
